Quick fixes for the things people ask most.
Miwi doesn't respond to prefix commands#
Use the slash version (/help) or mention Miwi (@Miwi help) — both always work. Check the prefix by mentioning Miwi. Make sure the channel isn't ignored in /settings setup and that Miwi can see and send messages there.
"I'm missing permissions: …"#
Give Miwi's role the permissions listed and move it above the roles it has to manage. See Permissions & roles. /owner scan lists everything worth fixing.
A command says I can't use it#
Commands need the same permission you'd need to do the action yourself. Server managers can add a manager role in /settings setup.
"Only the person who ran the command can use these buttons"#
Buttons and menus belong to whoever opened them. Run the command yourself to get your own.
Antinuke did nothing#
It's probably still in test mode (it only reports), or that protection is off. Check /antinuke settings. Miwi never punishes an action Discord didn't record in the audit log.
Antinuke punished a bot I trust#
Whitelist it: /antinuke whitelist add user:@YourBot.
I hit a limit#
Free servers have a few limits (for example 1 join-to-create hub). The message tells you what Premium allows — see Premium. Security is never limited.
Welcome messages don't send#
Run /welcome setup and press Send test. Miwi needs View Channel, Send Messages and Embed Links in the welcome channel.
Tickets won't open#
/ticket setup shows what's missing (usually the category or a support role). Miwi needs Manage Channels and Manage Roles.
I want to start over#
Run /setup and choose Reset & start fresh (owner or Administrator). Antinuke, cases, tickets and Premium are never reset.
"Something went wrong. Reference: abcd1234"#
