⌨️Using commands

Every Miwi command works as a slash command, with the prefix, or by mentioning Miwi.

The default prefix is m!. Change it with /settings setup or /settings prefix. Forgot it? Mention Miwi and it will tell you.

Finding commands#

• /help shows every category; pick one to see its commands.
• /help ban or /help antinuke enable explains one command: what it does, every option, examples and who can use it.

Typing prefix commands#

Prefix commands read their options the same way slash commands do:

• In order: m!slowmode 10s, m!ban @user 7d spam
• By name, any order: m!ban user:@spammer reason:"raid bot" delete:1d
• Subcommands: m!j2c privacy locked, m!antinuke whitelist add @admin
• Users, roles and channels as mentions, IDs or names: m!lock #general
• The last text option takes the rest of the message: m!translate how are you today

Wrong or missing options show the exact usage. Typos get "Did you mean m!kick?". A few commands open a form, and forms only work as slash commands — Miwi will tell you when.

Buttons and menus#

Many replies have buttons and menus. Only the person who ran the command can use them, and Miwi checks your permissions again on every click.

Miwi in DMs and other servers#

Add Miwi to your account (Discord → Apps → Miwi → Add to my apps) to use commands like /help, /userinfo, /translate, /crypto and the fun commands anywhere — even in DMs. See Utility & the user app.
